Golden Buzzer – Terry CrewsRoyal Lasers came into the audition with a direct connection to the AGT world. Cindy explained that the trio had met while working around the AGT residency in Las Vegas, where she and Josh were backup dancers and Nick was one of the choreographers.
Once the act began, the routine shifted from a standard dance audition into a fully produced visual story. The dancers changed into light-up costumes and moved through lasers, video effects, monsters, fire, and sci-fi western imagery set to “Larger Than Life” by Backstreet Boys.
Terry Crews did not wait for the judges to finish the moment. As soon as the routine ended, he ran toward the judges’ table and hit the Golden Buzzer, telling Royal Lasers they had given the room monsters and fire, so he was giving them gold.
Best Performances
Kameron Marshall
Kameron Marshall made close-up card magic feel relaxed before turning it into one of the sharpest auditions of the night. His style at the judges’ table was conversational, but the tricks kept escalating as cards changed suits and numbers in the judges’ hands.
The final reveal gave the act its punch. After the judges selected cards, Kameron showed that he had the matching cards tattooed on his arm. Mel B said the performance blew her brain away, and Sofía Vergara called him her favorite of the day.
Nene Royal
Nene Royal walked out with her father nearby and delivered one of the night’s strongest music auditions. The Phuket singer and guitarist took on The Cranberries’ “Zombie,” using her electric guitar and a raw rock vocal to separate herself from the other singers in the episode.
The judges had been tough on vocalists throughout the night, but Nene cut through that resistance. Sofía Vergara called the performance spectacular, Howie Mandel called her a rock star, and Mel B praised her guitar work.
Vahtang
Vahtang brought the episode one of its clearest surprise reactions. The beatboxer from Georgia mixed singing and beatboxing on “Black Betty,” turning the audition into a one-man party.
Howie Mandel responded to the energy immediately, and Simon Cowell called the act a good surprise. In an episode full of singers, dancers, and specialty acts, Vahtang stood out by making the stage feel bigger without needing anyone else on it.
Jesse White Tumbling Team
The Jesse White Tumbling Team gave the night a high-energy group act rooted in history and repetition. Founded 67 years ago, the Chicago-based team brought tumblers of different ages onto the stage and built the routine around flips, height, and momentum.
Sofía Vergara said the team looked like they were flying, while Howie Mandel called it the kind of act that represents what AGT is about.
Biggest Surprises
Darrell Moten
Darrell Moten’s mentalism audition looked like it had gone wrong before it became clear that the mistake was part of the setup. After Sofía Vergara pointed out that his first card trick had not worked, Darrell appeared to leave the stage disappointed.
The act then turned into a pre-recorded video reveal, reframing the failed card trick as a setup for a prediction involving the color and number Simon Cowell would say. Mel B was not sure she understood it, but the other judges were impressed enough to move him forward.
Abresh
Abresh used balance and suspense to hold the room. The act involved balancing on stacked boxes placed on a rolling tube, then raising that structure into the air while the audience watched every small movement.
The tension came from how little margin for error there appeared to be. Mel B summed it up as proper entertainment, and the judges sent Abresh through.
Barrio Dance Factory
Barrio Dance Factory opened the episode with a 28-person dance routine from Madison, Wisconsin, dressed in Freddie Mercury-inspired looks and performing to a Queen medley.
The judges agreed the crew had strong energy, even though Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell both noted that AGT has seen more original dance concepts before. The energy was enough to earn three yeses.
