America’s Got Talent Season 21 Auditions 6 opened with dancing dads taking the stage for their children and kept moving through aerial danger, emotional singers, strange comedy, ventriloquism, magic, impressions, and original music.
The night belonged to Veronika Goroshkova. The Ukrainian aerialist climbed onto a swinging pole above a hard platform without a visible harness or safety net, released her grip during controlled drops, and finished with Sofía Vergara reaching for the Golden Buzzer.

Golden Buzzer Winners
Veronika Goroshkova
She rotated around the pole, extended into strength positions, and released herself into sudden drops before catching the apparatus again. The danger stayed visible throughout the routine because every movement happened above a hard platform rather than a padded landing area.
Simon Cowell compared the audition to a gold-medal performance and praised its difficulty, staging, and showmanship. Sofía admitted the judges had seen similar acts before, but said she had a feeling she needed to act. She pressed the Golden Buzzer and sent Veronika directly forward.
Best Performances
Ashford Sanders
Ashford Sanders introduced himself as the owner of a soul food restaurant in Atlanta, joked that the food was not healthy but tasted good, and then slowed the room down with Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?”
His voice moved through the song with a warm, old-school soul quality rather than copying the original recording. By the final notes, he was visibly emotional and short of breath. Howie Mandel described his voice as a warm blanket, Sofía said she could listen to him forever, and Simon praised his tone and ability to reinterpret songs.
Cameron Logsdon
Cameron Logsdon framed his impression act as a stack of résumés from celebrities interested in becoming future AGT judges. Simon selected names from the list, giving Cameron a clear setup for each new voice.
He moved through Jason Statham, Mark Wahlberg, Jennifer Coolidge, Will Smith, and Dwayne Johnson, changing his delivery and physical mannerisms with each impression. Mel B questioned the presentation, but Howie defended the résumé concept because it gave the familiar impression format a different structure.
Lachlan Patterson
Lachlan Patterson walked into his set by joking that his face made him look more interested in kayaking than he actually was. He then moved into password requirements, suggested passwords filled with impossible symbols, and calls from “Scam Likely.”
The set was brief, controlled, and finished before the energy dipped. Mel B said she wished it had continued, while Simon used Joel M’s much longer magic audition as the contrast: leave the audience wanting more, not less.
Butter & Grit
Butter & Grit introduced themselves as Nashville friends who decided to form a duo while eating at a Chinese buffet. Their original song, “Sweet South,” mixed Southern food references, backyard imagery, and an immediately repeatable hook.
The judges repeatedly compared the song to a restaurant commercial, especially Cracker Barrel, but the comparison did not hurt them. Their personalities, harmonies, and cheerful delivery made the commercial quality part of the appeal, and they received four yes votes.
Biggest Surprises
Elektrodads
The Elektrodads returned to dancing after years focused on work and raising their combined 10 children. Their kids appeared through recorded messages and FaceTime-style interruptions, including a warning for Simon to be nice to their dads.
The routine began with deliberately awkward “dad” energy before the choreography tightened and the dancers settled into throwback hip-hop movement. Howie did not see a million-dollar dance act, but Simon argued that technical perfection mattered less than how strongly viewers would relate to them.
Yukuta
Yukuta arrived from Hiroshima with two interests: Simon Cowell and skincare. He stood on his head and used his feet to apply cardboard beauty products to a drawing of Simon’s face while the judges tried to understand what they were watching.
Howie insisted the act was not funny, while Mel B called it hysterical. The split reaction became part of the comedy, and Simon ultimately gave Yukuta the third yes vote he needed.
Naimana & Daniele
Naimana and Daniele sang “Nessun dorma” while operating a collection of characters that included a prince, princess, baby, horse, and parrot. Strong operatic voices kept emerging from an increasingly crowded ventriloquist scene.
The judges agreed the couple could sing, but not everyone understood the concept. Simon compared their potential to singing ventriloquist Terry Fator while also telling them the presentation was still “a bit stupid.” The audience helped persuade Sofía to provide the third yes.
Nicole Tissington
Nicole Tissington appeared to bite into raw chicken and its plastic package before revealing that the food was actually cake. She followed with a shoe, microphone, and red buzzer that also turned out to be detailed cakes.
The illusion worked well enough that the judges hesitated to touch the objects around them. They admired the craftsmanship, but decided realistic cake-making was not the right competitive act for AGT.
Acts Most Likely to Advance
Veronika Goroshkova is already in the strongest position after receiving Sofía Vergara’s Golden Buzzer. Her audition combined visible danger, athletic control, flexibility, and a staging concept that made the judges experience the height from a different perspective.
Ashford Sanders, Cameron Logsdon, Lachlan Patterson, Butter & Grit, and Elsie also left with clear reasons to return. Ashford had the night’s strongest vocal response, Cameron offered a recognizable television-ready impressions act, Lachlan delivered a concise comedy set, Butter & Grit had an original commercial hook, and the judges believed Elsie had more vocal potential than her first song revealed.
What This Means for Season 21
Auditions 6 restored singers to the center of the episode without letting the night become a vocal showcase. Ashford Sanders delivered an emotional cover, Elsie introduced an original song, Jesse Joe brought oil-field rock, and Butter & Grit leaned into playful country Americana.
At the same time, Sofía’s Golden Buzzer reinforced the value of dangerous visual acts as the auditions approach their conclusion. Veronika’s aerial pole routine joined dance, magic, ventriloquism, impressions, comedy, and novelty performances in one of the season’s broadest variety lineups.
Variety Spotlight
Lachlan Patterson gave the episode its cleanest stand-up set. His material stayed grounded in familiar frustrations—passwords, scam calls, and technology—but his wording and timing kept the jokes from feeling like generic observations.
Cameron Logsdon provided the other major comedy-variety moment by turning celebrity impressions into a mock hiring process for AGT. The format allowed the audience to anticipate each voice while still waiting to see how he would characterize the celebrity as a judge.
Booking Takeaways
Auditions 6 included aerial pole, soul singing, country music, rock, stand-up comedy, celebrity impressions, magic, ventriloquism, novelty comedy, realistic cake art, acrobatics, and adult dance performers.
The strongest audience reactions came from acts with an immediately understandable visual or emotional hook: Veronika’s unprotected height, Ashford’s intimate vocal delivery, Cameron’s recognizable voices, Lachlan’s concise jokes, and the Elektrodads’ recorded messages from their children.
