Joe Castillo discovered his gift for art long before America’s Got Talent. When he became a Christian, he began using that gift to tell the Easter Story in Sand. But Joe uses a very different tool to tell his stories….sand. He is one of the first and certainly the premier “SandStory” artist in the world today. Castillo has inspired millions of people through his Sand Animation and introduced many to this new art form.

This moving performance of the Easter Story was scored and choreographed to music while the art took place live on stage and the video projected on the screens for 23,000 participants at NCYC. As these 23,000 sat in silence Joe applied his talents – creating images images of grace and memories out of sand and light.
A dramatic depiction of the betrayal, beating and crucifixion of Christ performed to the powerful music of The Passion of the Christ. This presentation has been used effectively as an outreach and evangelistic presentation. Set to music, these images inspire, challenge and motivate in a captivating way.
