Season 2 of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” is now in the books, with the big winner of the season being the incredible dance crew called V.Unbeatable.
But although it wasn’t a singer who ended up taking home the big prize, this edition of the show had its fair share of memorable music performances people worldwide enjoyed watching.
Here is a rundown of five of the best voices we’ve heard on season 2 of Champions.
1. Connie Talbot
Connie Talbot appeared on Britain’s Got Talent at the age of six.
Then, she won everybody’s hearts and made it into the competition’s finale, finishing second and becoming an international child star.
Now a beautiful young woman, Connie auditioned once again in front of judge Simon Cowell, this time with an original song called “I Would.” Take a look:
2. Angelina Jordon
We couldn’t talk about the best voices on AGT Champions without including Angelina Jordan, the teenage prodigy who has gone from a standout star of Norway’s Got Talent (which she won when she was only seven years old) to America’s Got Talent sweetheart.
In Champions, season 2, Angelina amazed the judges with her raspy voice and graceful stage presence. Heidi Klum was most impressed by her performance in the auditions segment, awarding her the Golden Buzzer, thus sending her directly into the finals.
Watch her gorgeous rendition of “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” by Elton John from the finals in the video below.
3. Jack Vidgen
Jack Vidgen won season 5 of Australia’s Got Talent as a teenager. After taking an extended break from professional singing, Jack returned to the big stage to show a new side of himself on The Champions.
With a mature, deeper voice and a fabulous stage presence, the young singer proved himself and showed he’s ready to tackle music again.
Watch him perform a splendid, moving rendition of “You Stay” by Lauren Daigle in the video below.
4. Mike Yung
After years of singing in the New York City subway station, Mike Yung first captured the hearts of America’s Got Talent viewers when he competed in season 12 of the show. Then, the talented singer made it into the semi-finals.
In season 2 of Champions, the crooner made America fall in love with him again with his powerful rendition of his 2018 Martin Garrix collaboration “Dreamer.”
Watch it in the video below, and you’ll see why Mike deserves to be listed among the best voices on The Champions.
5. Marcelito Pomoy
The winner of “Philippines’ Got Talent” season 2, Marcelito Pomoy, is well known for his incredible ability to sing in both tenor and soprano and switch instantly from one to the other.
In The Champions, season 2, the falsetto singer quickly became a favorite with the audience thanks to his commanding live performances and stage charisma.
