Season after season, America’s Got Talent continues to amaze, entertain and sometimes shock all those watching. However, while many of the auditions are outstanding, just a select few are picked by the panel of judges to go straight to the live shows.

Those are the winning AGT Golden Buzzer acts and considering that every judge only gets one pick, it’s safe to say that an audition has to be beyond exceptional to earn this title.

Let’s look back at three of the best performances from America’s Got Talent that received the Golden Buzzer.

The Golden Buzzer Acts as Seen on America's Got Talent

Michael Ketterer

When Michael, a pediatric mental health nurse from Tennessee, first stepped on stage at America’s Got Talent, he was visibly nervous. However, he had a strong motivation for giving it his best.

As he said on stage, Michael’s primary reason for auditioning was to show his six kids that if he can live out his dream, then they can do it too.

And as soon as he started singing, everyone was taken over by his powerful, deep voice and touching performance.

Watch as this incredibly-talented father of six became one of the Golden Buzzer  acts from Simon Cowell in the video below. This is what a dream come true looks like!

Light Balance

As the stage lights went out and the members of Light Balance were getting ready to make their appearance on stage, Howie Mandel said: “This should be interesting.” And he couldn’t have been more right.

Light Balance is a light-up dance team formed of talented, young dancers, designers, programmers, and choreographers. Together, they manage to create an atmosphere of magic, light, dance, and music, which is meant to make audiences believe in the impossible.

Tyra Banks was the one who turned Light Balance into one of the America’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer acts of season 12. You can watch the group’s mindblowing audition that featured perfect synchronization of music and lighting effects in the video below.

Jon Dorenbos

You probably know Jon Dorenbos as a former professional NFL football player. But what you may not know about the former Philadelphia Eagles long snapper is that he got into magic as a way to escape the stress and the hardships in his life.

Jon auditioned for America’s Got Talent in 2016, when he surprised everyone with his unbelievable card tricks, his skills as a sleight-of-hand magician, as well as his stage charisma and likable personality.

In the video below, you can watch the moment Jon earned the Golden Buzzer from guest judge Ne-Yo on season 11 thanks to his incredible magic performance.

Warning, you may start to believe in magic after watching this:

If you enjoyed Jon’s performances, skills, and personality, then you’ll be happy to know that you can book him and add that much coveted “Wow” factor to any event. Find more information here.

Piff the Magic Dragon

Piff the Magic Dragon is colorful and fantastical dragon dude comically contrast with his dour and snide personality. His snappy comebacks and one-liners, particularly when interacting with others, are enough to split the sides of an audience. However, all the patter is just a prelude to the main invent: close-up magic, which he uses to burn up his finale on America’s Got Talent.
