Have you ever thought an artist could capture your event by painting in a way photography cannot? We are used to believing pictures are worth a thousand words, but Heidi Schwartz paintings are worth feelings and emotions on top of that.

How Heidi Schwartz Discovered Her Passion
Heidi grew up in Dayton, Ohio and she loved to draw and play with colors ever since she was a little girl. As she got older, Heidi started to explore and nourish her creativity and ideas.
She even says this is how she learned and found herself. Painting or drawing helped Heidi gather her thoughts.
Her journey begins in Nashville, where she came at the age of 19 years old. Heidi started taking classes at Belmont University’s commercial music program because she wanted to become a singer.
Despite the fact she was pursuing music, it did not stop her from painting at the same time. In fact, Heidi Schwartz released an album, and each song had a painting attributed to it. So basically they were song pictures.
The transition to live art happened naturally. She was working at Gaylord Opryland Hotel when she asked an entertainment manager about a job which required performing. The manager listened to her music, saw her paintings and then asked her if she could do a painting at a dinner.
Heidi said yes, which led to another dinner and another one, and even a birthday party. Now, she is the world’s leading event painter and can capture the atmosphere of an event, by using the right colors and brush strokes.
How Live Painting Works?
The live painting itself takes about three hours to finish, but she will set up her working area four hours before the event starts.
She first picks the nuances in the room and will identify symbols and abstract objects. Then, she observes the decor, subject matter, theme and happenings throughout the event. Afterward, Heidi will piece all of these aspects together like a puzzle in her painting.
When she sits down and paints, she is in her world. Heidi loves creating these live paintings because they are so unique and feels like this is how she is giving back to people.
Your guests will be able to see how the painting will evolve from start to finish.
The Interpretive Painting Will Celebrate Your Event Forever
You can even make prints and thank you cards from the image Heidi is going to paint and give them to your guests as a beautiful gift.
She will bring everything she will need to paint, such as paints, canvas and drop cloths. The only thing she will need is a 10×10 area of clear space to work, and the magic can begin.
