Throughout its 17 season run, America’s Got Talent has hosted a series of incredible musicians from all walks of life. We saw a masterful combo of vocal and instrumental acts while performers dazzled us with their extraordinary musicianship.
But just how good were these artists? In this following article, we decided to answer this question by showcasing 4 of the most memorable music acts the audiences had the pleasure of hearing.
Bianca Ryan – First Season
Without Bianca Ryan on it, the first winner of AGT; we couldn’t have this list. She is perhaps one of the most influential musicians in the show’s history.
On the stage, not only did she captivate with her strong vocals, but also her combination of pop and R&B deeply impressed the judges and the American audience. Thirteen years after her win, she returned to America’s Got Talent – The Champions, where she proved she still has that unique something that makes a great musician.
An eleven years old singer with the voice range of a professional musician, Bianca Ryan’s act from the first season is a must-watch.
Cami Bradley – Season 8
Cami Bradley is a singer, a pianist, and perhaps one of the most popular music acts in the entire show’s history. When she first stepped onto America’s Got Talent stage, nothing could have prepared the audience for what they were about to witness.
At only 25 years old, she had a commanding presence on stage and an extraordinary ability to connect with an audience by capturing their emotions in her performances. Cami is also an excellent pianist. She didn’t shy away from singing and playing the piano during the competition simultaneously.
When Cami goes on stage, she creates an engulfing musical experience, so we had to include her on this list.
Sal Valentinetti – Season 11
In an age where electronic music is getting mainstream attention, Sal Valentinetti reminds people of the beautiful sounds from 1950s America. He is an Italian-American crooner that fell in love with the musical genius of Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, and Frank Sinatra.
His singing techniques, like his breath control and vocal phrasing, are impressive. He can hold notes for a very long duration and has the smooth personality of a jazz musician.
In 2016, he took his remarkable vocals and big personality on the stage of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, where he instantly clicked with both the audience and judges. His audition song “My Way” by Frank Sinatra earned him a Golden Buzzer that night and immediately sent him into the final stages of the show.
Although he didn’t win the competition, this old-school entertainer with a heart of gold made history with his stunning performances.
Kenadi Dodds – Season 15
Kenadi Dodds is a singer and multi-instrumentalist who took the 15th season by storm with her powerful vocal abilities.
From her dad, a two-time Paralympian, Kenadi learned the importance of hard work and perseverance from a young age. Eventually, he was the one that encouraged the young musician to perform on the AGT stage.
During the competition, she performed original songs, occasionally accompanied by her piano or guitar. Kenadi nailed one performance after another and eventually made it into the finals.
The judges loved her performances, and we think you will too.
