AGT: The Champions Season 2 - Meet the Youngest Contestants from the Show

1. Luke Islam, age 12

  •  singer (America’s Got Talent 2019 semi-finalist)

Luke Islam dazzled the judges at America’s Got Talent with his incredible voice when he auditioned for season 14. Then, the aspiring Broadway star received a standing ovation from the judges for his heartfelt, graceful performance.

Plus, judge Julianne Hough hit the Golden Buzzer, giving him a straight pass to the live shows. However, Luke was eliminated in the semifinals of the show. But now he’s back!

On The Champions season 2, Luke aims to show everyone just how determined he is to win the competition by pushing his limits and giving it his all.

Here’s a look back at one of his best performances on America’s Got Talent, season 14.

2. Alexa Lauenburger, age 11

  • dog act (Das Supertalent 2017 winner, Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions 2019 finalist)

After impressing the audiences in Britain and Germany, Alexa is now ready to win America’s heart on AGT: The Champions with her exciting dog acts.

Despite her young age, Alexa is already a champion, having won Germany’s Got Talent.

Furthermore, Alexa went on to compete on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, where she won Ant and Dec’s Golden Buzzer – and received the ultimate praise from Simon Cowell, who dubbed her performance as the best dog act he’s ever seen.

3. Angelina Jordan, age 13

  •  singer (Norway’s Got Talent 2014 winner)

Recognized as a child prodigy with a one of a kind voice, Angelina won Norway’s Got Talent by singing classic jazz standards, including “Gloomy Sunday” and “Fly Me to the Moon.” She was only seven years old at that time.

In 2020, audiences will be able to watch Angelina compete on The Champions, where she already knocked it out of the ballpark with her first performance, for which she won Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer.

For her performance, the singer cleverly transformed Queen’s famous Bohemian Rhapsody into a soulful ballad, which left the judges speechless. Take a look:

4. JJ Pantano, age 7

  •  comedian (Australia’s Got Talent 2019 semi-finalist)

The 7-year-old Australian actor and stand-up comedian wowed the judges in the 9th season of Australia’s Got Talent with his incredible comedic timing and confidence, earning himself a Golden Buzzer from Shane Jacobson.

In 2020, he is one of the 40 contestants from The Champions season 2 who are competing to take home the top prize.

Despite his young age, JJ Pantano already has much experience in the entertainment industry. Coming from a family of professional entertainers, JJ first hit the stage when he was just 2-years-old.

He is a natural-born entertainer with a big personality whose abilities also include dancing, singing, and playing guitar and piano. Check out his hilarious Golden Buzzer stand-up comedy act from Australia’s Got Talent in the video below.

5. Tyler Butler-Figueroa, age 12

  • violinist (America’s Got Talent 2019 finalist)

Violinist Tyler Butler-Figueroa was Simon’s Cowell’s Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent in 2019. The young performer impressed both the judges and viewers at home not only with his polished skills but also with his incredible determination and courage.

After being diagnosed with leukemia aged just four and a half, Tyler endured bullying from his classmates, and music served as an escape for him, something which brought him newfound joy and happiness.

Before his first AGT audition, Tyler said: “I didn’t want to be the kid with cancer. So now, I’m the kid who plays the violin.”

On The Champions, 2020 edition, Tyler is more determined than ever to showcase his talent and inspire viewers at home.
