Penn & Teller: Fool Us, the competition where magicians from all over the world perform tricks in front of American magician-comedian duo Penn Teller, is known for highlighting new stars in magic.

Keep reading to discover some of the best card tricks featured on the show and learn more about the incredible magicians performing them.

  1. Marcus Eddie

From theaters and TV to corporate and private events, Marcus Eddie creates memorable moments of magic everywhere he performs.

For his appearance on season 6 of Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Marcus prepared a never seen magic act that was purposefully engineered to fool Penn and Teller.

The talented magician began his performance holding an empty box of cards, boldly saying: “This isn’t a card trick. This is something we imagine.”

However, just seconds after his act, the empty box magically filled itself with cards, letting the judges and the audience know they were in for a treat.

What followed was a series of some of the best card tricks featured on the show – all skillfully executed by Marcus.

  1. Kostya Kimlat

Kostya Kimlat is known for his sophisticated brand of magic and always-surprising performances, pushing the limits of what we know is possible.

For his first appearance on Penn and the Teller, Kostya invented a new magic trick he knew the two renowned judges hadn’t seen before.

The audience and the judges were utterly dazzled by his out of these world card shuffles, flawlessly timed punchlines and his clean handling of the deck of cards.

Penn recognized he was frustrated because he couldn’t name one thing Kostya didn’t execute flawlessly, and he and Teller had no other option than to admit they were 100% fooled.

Check Kostya’s superb performance in the video below:

  1. Shin Lim

We couldn’t talk about the best card tricks from Penn and Teller and not include Shin Lim, the artist who created his category of card magic with his elaborate routines.

Shin Lim was one of the best close-up magicians and is recognized worldwide for his use of card manipulation and sleight of hand. So everyone’s expectations of Penn and Teller were pretty high when Shin stepped on stage, and he didn’t disappoint.

His skills are undeniable. Plus, how he choreographed his moves along with the music helped build up the tension in the room, making the entire routine more exciting.

If you haven’t got a chance to see this performance before, you’re in for a real treat.

  1. Christian Engblom

Christian Engblom started his journey into the world of magic when he was three. Years later, he took on magic as a full-time career and made a name for himself as a close-up and card magic specialist.

The Finnish magician appeared on season 5 of Penn and Teller and presented an interactive, comedy-rich magic routine that took him over five years to perfect.

But it was all worth it in the end, as he managed to fool the two expert judges.

Christian Engblom is nothing short of a miracle worker when it comes to card magic.

Watch him in action in the video below.
