Dog Gone Entertainment: Surprise Your Guests with the Olate Dogs Group

Who Are the Olate Dogs Group?

The most likely place where you could have heard of this delightful duo is America’s Got Talent.  If you have watched the seventh season of the popular show America’s Got Talent, you will recognize them for sure.  After all, they are the big winners of Season 7!

However, to understand the extent of their story, we need to take you on a ride down memory lane. Richard Olate was the second youngest child of a poor family in Chile with 21 brothers and sisters.

However, there’s more to Richard and Nicholas Olate’s story than first meets the eye. Despite the light nature of their program, their history will make you reach for the box of tissues.

Richard was born into a low-income family in Chile, South America. As you can imagine, dog training could not have been on his mind back then. Alternatively, was it?

One day, he found a stray dog in the streets. After adopting the poor thing, he began to teach it new tricks. Soon after, he found two more dogs to include in his small local act.  Back then, he did not have a clue about the Olate Dogs, but his love for animals, his patience and perseverance allowed him to support his family by the age of 12 through his dog shows.

With the help of his mother and older brother, Richard carried this act to schools and circuses. The money he made went to his struggling family.

After traveling with this act across South America, in 1989, it was time to see what the U.S. had to think of their performance.

Years passed by and Richard decided to take his dogs act on a “work trip” to the U.S. They were an instant success and had continued to do so for years to come.

As you may have noticed, it has been a stunning success. Moreover, it continues to be so to this day. Richard now tours the country with his son, Nicholas, and the band of rescue dogs at their side.

What Tricks Can Their Dogs Possibly Do?

Well, you do not win $1,000,000 just by playing dead and bringing the ball back, that is for sure.

Describing their tricks would be kind of ruining the surprise, however. The better alternative is just to watch what the Olate Dogs did for their finale on America’s Got Talent.
In case you did not watch the show, here they are in all their furry glory:

Did that intro surprise you? It is understandable if it did. This is not something you see every day.

Even if you do not have time to watch the full video, the first few seconds are guaranteed to bring a smile on anyone’s face.

As Sharon Osbourne said, “that was pure love on the stage.” Because love is the essence of the entire Olate Dogs show.

However, their love displayed during the performance managed to transcend through TV screens and reached the hearts of the whole world. That is what won them AGT’s one-million-dollar prize.

Imagine the look on your guests’ faces when they see something like that enter the stage at your event!

Why Should You Book the Show?

The Olate Dogs are based in Houston, Texas. In total, they have 22 dogs. They have four distinct acts featuring a variety of tricks. Each act is about 5 minutes long and features up to 10 dogs at a time. According to the Olates, the hardest trick is the back flip you have seen in the video clip above.

Their act is perfect for multiple types of events: corporate events, product launch parties, charity events and more.

However, the main benefit of booking them is any audience will like their performance, regardless of age, race, religion or other cultural differences. Your guests do not even need to speak the same language to enjoy this unique and exciting performance.

Having the Olate Dogs as entertainment for your event will also boost attendance since they are quite famous.

What Are You Waiting for?

We have already mentioned that the Olate Dogs are touring the U.S. non-stop. They bring laughter and joy wherever they go.

Don’t miss your chance for some happy times with these two talented men and their band of gifted pups.
