We thought she deserved an article exclusively about her because she had one of the most beautiful and emotional performances the jury had ever seen.
Evie is a talented singer and pianist, and she is a teenager. Before we talk about her performance on America’s Got Talent, let’s find out more about her experience as a singer. Alternatively, we could even call it a career.
Evie Clair was born in Florence, Arizona and has been playing the piano and singing since she was only two years old.
At eight years old, she performed for the public for the first time as Molly, in the production Annie at the Hale Theater. Evie did not know how to tap dance until then. She learned it especially for the show from Cambrian James.
Then, only two years later, she performed the National Anthem at the Arizona Diamondbacks game, which was just an incredible experience for her.
In August 2014, she released her first original song, called For You. The song was featured on the Once I Was A Beehive soundtrack after Stephen Moyer remastered it.
When she was 11, meaning in 2015, she released her second original pop single, called The Peanut Butter To My Jelly. The song was about showing love for her friends and moving to a new city.
Between the first and the second release of her original song, Evie Clair participated in Arizona’s Rockin’ With Talent competition. She won the heart of the audience and the first place in her category (3-11 years old) by performing Temporary Home by Carrie Underwood.
The Jolee-Jaffa Music Foundation recognized her talent as well and asked her to perform “God Bless America” at the Baroque Ball they hosted in March 2015. The ball’s purpose was to raise funds to provide music lessons and instruments to those who cannot afford them.
Now that you know a little bit more about Evie let’s talk about her performance on America’s Got Talent.
Evie Clair, the Strongest Girl on America’s Got Talent
Ever since she was a little girl, Evie dream about performing on the show. Her dream came true this year.
However, there was another reason why she decided to enter the competition.
Approximately one year ago, Evie’s dad was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer, and the doctors gave him only 5% chance of survival. Despite all that, he managed to fight and so Evie wanted to dedicate all of her performances to her dad.
Sadly, he passed away right before the finals. Evie somehow found the strength to give one of the most emotional performances you will ever see in your life to honor her father.
You can see in the video below how she got a standing roaring ovation from the audience when she finished singing.
Evie’s talent is irrefutable, and she has the potential to wow more audiences in the upcoming years.
If you are organizing a virtual concert or special event, such as a fundraiser or a ball, then you will be in good hands with an entertainer as amazing as Evie Clair.
