But what if you don’t know what to include in it?
In this case, the entire process can seem more overwhelming, and that can lead to you making mistakes.
There’s no need to worry, though. We’re here to help you out. How? By showing you which aspects you need to prioritize to make sure your event will be a resounding success.
So, here are four things that you should always include in your corporate event checklist:
1. A Well-Planned Budget
Obviously, you can’t do anything without a budget. However, it’s not enough to just have some money put aside for the event.
You need to plan it to make sure your budget covers all costs. By that, we mean that it should be enough to pay for the necessary amenities, and also cover any unexpected expenses.
If it doesn’t, you might find yourself having to make compromises as a way to cut down your expenses. And that can really have an unwanted effect on your event.
2. A Venue that Accommodates Everyone
Next to the budget, the venue is the second most important thing that should be present in your corporate event checklist.
First things first -- you have to be sure all your guests can fit in the venue. Overcrowding is just going to annoy people, not give them the impressions that your brand is beloved by all.
Next, do your best to ensure the venue is not too far away from the downtown area. You want it to be accessible to all of your guests, not just the ones who will drive to your event.
Speaking of driving, though, make sure the venue offers decent, safe parking as well.
Lastly, see if the venue already comes equipped with musical/video equipment and if it has designated smoking areas.
3. An Overall Appealing Theme
You just can’t have a successful event without an interesting theme. It doesn’t even have to be something over the top.
You could just go for a ballroom, masquerade, or just a plain holiday-oriented theme. Anything like that will do since it will impress your guests and make them feel like the event is special.
If you’re low on money for the theme planning phase, just focus on decorating the entrance and the stage area.
4. No Corporate Event Checklist Is Complete without Entertainment
Do you know what goes hand in hand with an excellent event theme? Quality entertainment!
Now that will really wow your guests and make for a memorable experience. This way, they’ll have some time to unwind after the corporate part of the event.
Plus, they won’t get bored at all -- especially if you pick someone who can deliver a unique performance, someone like Heidi Schwartz.
Whether you want to keep it simple or go over the top, we’ve got you covered. We offer access to a large selection of corporate entertainers and speakers who can turn your event into a memorable experience.
Once you’ve found the perfect pick for your event, all that’s left to do is get in touch with us. You’ll have one less thing you need to worry about and be able to focus on the other pressing corporate event planning tasks.
